PRODUCT ENGINEERING

From prototypes to production, precision components are molded, shaped, and produced using state-of-the  art manufacturing equipment and techniques

PART MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES:

• Molding - thermoplastics, thermosets, amidimids, fluorosilicone elastomers,  methly-vinyl elastomers, neoprene and a host of other materials
• Cold Impacting - many metal shells produced from cold impacts
• Metal Turning - a strong and varied array of equipment accommodates almost any  project imaginable
• Cold Heading/ Deep Drawing - Deutsch produces in excess of 25,000,000 piece parts monthly
• Metal Forming - Technologies include progressive, deep draw, coining, impacting  and compound die design and use
• Metal Finishing/Plating - All done in-house using a state-of-the-art plating facility.  Deutsch is famous for its metallized composite materials that provide unmatched adhesion characteristics and for high durability extended life contact plating where very high mating cycles are required
• Heat Treating - Everything from tool steels to beryllium copper alloys. A wide variety of stress relieving , brazing, and welding.
• Shop Support - Deutsch maintains tooling support cells throughout all facilities,  providing the shops with the ability to maintain their operations in top running order.
• Mechanical and Electronic  Assembly - Using over 35,000 square feet of floor space, Deutsch assembles, inspects,  packages, and ships all of our own product

• Tooling Development - Virtually all tool development is accomplished at Deutsch by Deutsch employees - custom designs to get the job done

FACILITIES

Deutsch is recognized throughout the industry as having the finest facilities exclusively devoted  to connector manufacturing

• In total, Deutsch has eighteen facilities in six countries, with total manufacturing space in excess of 1.5 million square feet
• Over a half million square feet  of space are located in Southern California in the cities of Hemet, Oceanside and Banning
